Annual USC
International Periodontal and Implant Symposium
This course can be taken as a whole or individually
This program boasts four days with a diverse range
of educational opportunities. These include all-day
hands-on workshops for in-depth training, as well as
a full-day program dedicated for dental hygienists.
Although the majority of the generalsession presentations
are interdisciplinary in nature, there are also sessions
designated as "Surgical Track", "Restorative
Track" and, "Dental Hygiene Forum" to
focus on specific disciplines. This is an educational
opportunity not to be missed by the entire oral health
care team, including specialists, restorative dentists
and dental hygienists.

USC Ruth Ragland Dental Hygiene
Symposium
This symposium will provide oral health care professionals with current information about the assessment, treatment and management of clients with autoimmune diseases, highlighting common autoimmune diseases, oral and systematic disease manifestations, and appropriate dental hygiene interventions. Our speakers will also explore the science behind common beliefs, perceptions and myths that define dental hygiene practice.
